ADC Finishing was incorporated in 1980, specializing in liquid paint applications.
Today, ADC Finishing operates out of a 60,000 square foot building with 8 truck loading/unloading ramps and has two conveyorized liquid paint application systems, comprised of back to back paint spray booths equipped with electrostatic paint spray guns, fresh air assisted flash-off tunnels, paint bake ovens and forced-air cool-downs.
In addition, one of the liquid paint application systems incorporates a fully automatic, electrostatic powder coating booth with reciprocating applicators.
The roof-mounted bake oven is capable of either curing liquid paint or powder coatings with up to a 500° F operating temperature.
A stand alone pre-treatment system is comprised of a conveyorized 5-stage iron phosphate washer with dry-off oven. This system cleans and applies a phosphate coating prior to either liquid paint or powder application.
Larger parts are cleaned and phosphated in a manual spray wash booth, followed with a manual batch liquid or powder booth and bake ovens.
Furthermore, ADC Finishing has a steel grit blasting system to remove rust or if the customer’s specifications require this service.
ADC Finishing is presently installing a new, state-of-the art finishing system using a power and free conveyor, 5-stage all stainless steel pre-treatment machine (using the latest ambient temp chemical technology), liquid paint spray booth, automatic powder coating booth, flash-off tunnel, paint/powder curing oven and parts cool-down tunnel. The system will be PLC controlled with operator touch screen to provide for maximum flexibility in selecting liquid paint or powder coatings. Each part carrier is designed to carry components weighing up to 2000 lbs. at relatively fast transfer speeds.
ADC Finishing has been recognized as a quality coating facility and has earned a reputation as an ‘ON TIME DELIVERY’ company.
ADC Finishing has a high standard of quality control procedures and documentation for all of its operations. We are presently in the process of obtaining our ISO 9001:2000 certification that will be completed in 2008.
